Absolutely loved staying at ...

Absolutely loved staying at The Main. The hotel is modern and absolutely beautiful. There are different art displays throughout the hote, including near elevators etc. The staff was friendly and professional. I also ate food at different restaurants within the hotel and had one of the best fish I ever tasted. I wish they allowed more in-room dining options. I've already stayed twice and can't wait to come back. Thank you everyone who made my stay a wonderful experience!

Being from out of ...

Being from out of town I always look for the most fantastic, unique experiences to the area. Grain is by one of those on top of my list! The atmosphere is alive and happy. Inside and out! Live music, fun lights, outdoor views. I couldn’t ask for more! But wait, the FOOD! The menu has something for everyone and is fresh and delicious. Drink menu is fun. And then there is the sunset with the water! Wow. Blew me away! Make sure you give this spot a go whether you’re a local and out of towner.

Great hotel with spacious ...

Great hotel with spacious room and wonderful views. Perfect for a couple’s get away. Lots to do near the hotel, but you don’t have to leave it to experience fine dining or live entertainment.

I went to "The ...

I went to "The Grain" which is the restaurant on the top of the building. We went there for their Brunch Buffet Saturday. IT WAS AWESOME!!. The ambiance was great and they had a DJ playing there the whole time. Each food section is different. When you walk through the door to you're left is the breakfast buffet. With all your breakfast foods and quiches and fruits. To your far right is the lunch buffet items. In the middle is the raw bar with all the seafood. There is an area for all the breads and an area for all the desserts. There is also an omelette station and a taco station. They will make the food for you fresh. This is a great place to go with friends or on a date or even go by yourself if you want some good food.

I travel a lot ...

I travel a lot for work and stay at hotels constantly. Most hotel staff are polite and professional, but it’s rare to experience a team that genuinely goes out of their way to care about people the way the staff at this Hilton in Norfolk did during my stay. I’m currently recovering from rotator cuff surgery and traveling with my arm in a sling. I arrived late the first night around 11:30 PM, exhausted, stressed, hungry, and honestly struggling a bit. The woman at the front desk immediately noticed I was injured and took incredible care of me. She held my DoorDash order for me, helped me get settled in, and after discovering that multiple vending machines weren’t working, she even gave me a free Diet Coke. It may seem small, but after a long travel day, that kindness meant a lot. The next day during our conference, a woman named Ebony was helping with food, snacks, drinks, and cleanup. She noticed right away that I was struggling and consistently went out of her way to help me throughout the event. Every single time food or drinks were involved, she offered to help carry things, serve food, get water, or bring snacks over to me. I’m someone who rarely asks for help and usually tries to do everything myself, so her kindness and attentiveness genuinely stood out. She made me feel important, cared for, and supported without ever making it feel forced. The kindness continued throughout the stay. A gentleman collecting laundry on my floor stopped to ask if I needed help and told me if I needed anything at all, he’d take care of it. Later, as checkout approached, I explained to housekeeping that I was struggling to get packed up and downstairs in time because of my injury. Without hesitation, she smiled and said, “You take all the time you need — I got you covered and can help you with anything you need.” That level of compassion is something you don’t forget. Even as I was leaving for the airport, the staff member by the door insisted on helping open doors and assisting me to my Uber. What stood out most about this stay wasn’t just the hotel itself — it was the people. Every interaction felt genuine. Nobody acted inconvenienced. Nobody made me feel like a burden. They simply treated me with kindness, compassion, and humanity during a time when I really appreciated it. To everyone at this Hilton in Norfolk who helped me during my stay: thank you. Your kindness made a difficult week of travel and recovery so much easier, and I truly won’t forget it.
