Really nice hotel with an executive lounge. Great water views. Multiple restaurants in the hotel. 21 floors high. Very clean place.

The room was a 3 because the heater's inner cabinet door kept shaking every time the heater turned on. The heater sounds were louder then one at a motel. Everytime the heater turned on I woke up. My husband didn't even sleep because of the heater noise. We left around 6:45 am. The breakfast was good, we took it go to since we were too tired to enjoy it at the hotel.

Top notch accommodations in the heart of downtown Norfolk. I have stayed in Norfolk more than a few times and I can safely say that The Main is head and shoulders above any hotel in town. Possibly in southeast Virginia. Staff was very accommodating to my wife and I as we needed a refrigerator (nursing mother) and they took care of us no questions asked. The Ballroom was enormous and very upscale. Our room was well appointed and spacious. Everything you could want is either in the hotel or within a few minutes walk! Great choice of restaurants and bars on the 5 lower floors. Would highly recommend for the quality, views and experience.

Food was a bit expensive, but good.

We had an early appointment at the Custom’s House and stayed here because of the convenient location. Little did I know we would have the best hotel experience ever. The staff are very friendly and informative. They actually care about your experience. The room was beautiful and the view at night was breathtaking. I would highly recommend this hotel.
