The elevator logistics at this hotel are a nightmare. You think they have 6 elevators to get to higher floors that should be enough right? It's a lie. 3 bays are dedicated for the restaurants that only go up to the 5th floor, leaving 3 elevators for the other 11 or so floors. During my stay one of those elevators was out of order so that left 2 elevators for guests to go to and from their rooms which during peek times is nowhere near enough. I have trouble believing 3 are enough. 5 to 8 minute wait times for an elevator going down only to see that it is full is enough to make 5 star accommodations everywhere else be brought down a few stars.

Pretty good food, not worth the service. Seating, food, and check took forever. Waitress only checked on us twice the hour and a half we were there.

I booked this hotel for 3 days/2 nights. Location is very convenient, close to water and other restaurants.I try to avoid lines so the digital key was my favorite. I also used valet parking. $28 per day is reasonable for the convenience but the wrong car was brought to me. That was a little annoying. As for the rooms, I expected more being I paid $900 for 2nights. Trash was in my room upon my arrival, my refrigerator would not get cold due to ice build up. Bath towels are very cheap, holes and stains on dry off towels. Those should be replaced immediately. Walls are very thin, my sleep was interrupted by my neighboring guest intimate moment. By this time I was ready to go home. I traveled a long way to visit my child in Norfolk, thought I was choosing one of the best hotels in the area according to the reviews. I expect my stay/room to reflect what I'm paying. Not the case, can't say l'll return.

First day wasn't good they did better on the second day. If you arrange a convention for over 3000 make sure they have breakfast a little late on day 1

Hotel is great overall. I was there for a company conference . I checked in at 7pm and would be out of the room from 8am until checkout for a $400 room, - only me - all I did was sleep a few hours. I needed until noon to checkout so I didn't have to leave my conference early. They denied it. The rooms are good enough and location is great but willingness to listen to my concern and give me an hour so I could finish my conference with a company that likely spend a LOT of money to host -- I give a 3
