Hilton Norfolk The Main Reviews

My husband and I recently moved to this area. We wanted to go out so we decided on Grain for the view and because there are a lot of beer options. It was too hot to sit outside plus all of the tables didn't have umbrellas and there were no fans. We sat at the bar ordered drinks and the Nashville Hot Chicken Dip. I love visiting Nashville and we both love spice in our food. The dip was so hot that the only thing you could taste was heat. I don't remember ever eating bad food in Nashville. The bartender replaced it with the Spinach and Artichoke Dip which was better. My husband decided that he wanted to eat so we ordered Norfolk Cheese Steak for him and Fish and Chips for me. There was a little steak with lots of fries. There was a good portion of tasteless fish and lots of fries. After we decided that we would only visit Grain if someone invited us to a celebration we decided we needed to see the view before we left. One side had gliders, a few games and buildings. The other side had tables, a narrow view of the river and more buildings. The bartenders were super nice and attentive. Grain gets a 3 because of the bartenders. If I could give separate scores, the bartenders would get a 5 and the food would get a 1.

Bel locale, grande assortimento di birre e cibo migliorabile. Solo un metodo di pagamento è stato possibile e quindi tutti hanno dovuto raschiare il portafoglio per trovare i soldi per pagare. Peccato

Parking is terrible, and if you have a full size vehicle it's worse. It's pretty on the inside of the Hilton they can do better with parking.

This is a great restaurant with awesome customer facing staff however it took a very long time to get our food and some of the appetizers that we got were overcooked. This was due to a supply shortage so hopefully it will be resolved in the near future. Their cheese steak sub was pretty good. The beers are the real draw here, plenty of options to choose from and a supreme view.

Buffet is never good or worth it but DEVYN!!! Best server we could have had!! So attentive, friendly and sweet. Jumbalaya and stoufers mac n cheese for brunch is not at all what we were expecting, especially for the price, but the ambiance is amazing! My friends and I love the location. Just wish the menu was an option for brunch bc the food sucks.
