Hilton Norfolk The Main Reviews

Nice atmosphere...definitely appealing to my type of crowd. Excellent drinks, decent music, and people who want to enjoy conversation. Not great on vegan or vegetarian selections at ALL! That was a major disappointment. Overall I had an excellent time but left extremely hungry!

The Hilton Norfolk The Main was a great place for the Virginian Governor's Tourism Summit. The hotel staff was very attentive to the needs of the attendees and the host. Dinner at Saltine was off of the chart from the person who waited on us to the food. We were a party of 8 and the attention and service we received deserves five stars. Check-in and check-out was a breeze, the view was awesome from our room, the party in the Grain with The Deloreans had everyone dancing and having a good time. I would stay there again if I am ever in Norfolk.

Just a beautiful hotel - serene, modern and comfortable. I cannot add much more than what has already been posted. Also, the breakfast for Diamond members surpasses expectations - lots to choose from, especially in the beverage section. This is what a luxury hotel is all about.

Stunning and spacious rooftop venue with outdoor firepit and an unbeatable weekend brunch service with live music. The sorbet mimosa pitcher is the perfect size for two. There wasn't a single bad item in the buffet. The place had a 45 minute wait at 1pm for 2 people, but we were able to find seats at the hightop bar area right away.

The location is great and the employees in the lobby were always polite and helpful. The views from my hotel were beautiful. I was on the 20th floor, 15 floors above the “rooftop” bar…I’m not sure why this is considered rooftop but I’ll leave that alone…when I come to a hotel I do expect to be able to sleep. Keeping a very loud bar and music going until 1am shows to me that they do not agree. I had to always eat off site as the restaurants were always full with non-guests which was a little irritating though fine. If I was in the lobby or not wanting to sleep in my room it was fine, if not…no thanks. Wouldn’t stay again.
