The room was amazing ...

The room was amazing and just what we needed. We had a room on the 18th floor, so the view was pretty good. My only issue with this hotel was the parking situation. We arrived and were told we would have yo park at the parking garage next door because their own garage was full? How can you not have a Hilton with no parking for all the guests that have paid to stay here?? I would say that issue needs worked on. Luckily, the garage next door had spots available, but if they had not, I would have been irate and probably canceled and demanded a refund.

2 star for Service ...

2 star for Service because my digital key was DEACTICATED 1 hr before checkout time. I booked this hotel for the sole purpose of walking across the street to the Customhouse building for a 5 MINUTES appointment. Imagine the awkwardness had I not already taken my luggage to my car, but I had kept a backpack on me to return to my room and CHANGE into my traveling clothes. The elevator wouldn't work for me to return to the 17th floor. So I did the INCONVENIENT thing of changing in the 1st floor common bathroom. Hilton, this is beneath you for the price I paid for 1 night on a Thursday. That said, the room smelled clean and was clean upon entry, bathroom was clean and the hot water was hot and pressure was perfect. The bed was comfy. Pillows were firm enough that I didn't need to stack 2 pillows like some other hotels to get a good night sleep. For the price they charge, I shouldn't have to see stained sheets and comforters being used. Yes, linens obviously washed, but at this location, I guess it's acceptable. The bedroom door has a 1 inch gap at the bottom. You will see light from the hallway. You will HEAR people speaking right outside like they're in your room, and you will hear people shouting from down the hall. It all comes in through this 1 inch gap. Great location in downtown and walking distance to everything in this area.

I know the pictures ...

I know the pictures are odd, but I absolutely loved the art around the whole hotel. Loved it! The rooms were really nice, I liked how many hangers there were because I was able to hang everything I brought. The bed was a great size with comfy pillows, but the bed wasn't super comfy. I loved my view, though (I believe the even numbers look over the city, the odd looks over the river). There are a few restaurants inside that were so good. We loved Saltine for our happy hour (hello...50c oysters?!). A drink on the rooftop bar by the fire was a great way to end the day, and I only grabbed breakfast once at the other restaurant (which name I can't remember); it was okay, but $22 for a continental buffet was a bit pricey. I was there for a conference and the conference rooms were freezing, so glad I brought sweaters, but I was still cold. The lunches were catered by the hotel but not good, I doubt it was the same food that was in the restaurants because the quality was very different. Also, the coffee was not very good. However, there is a coffee shop in the hotel on the bottom floor so that was nice. Not amazing, but better than the conference coffee. Oh! The elevators are sssllloooooooooowwwwwww so leave early if you're on an upper floor. My keys didn't work in the stairwell (which I tried using because it was quicker than the elevator) but was told that the stairs are more for emergencies, not for regular use. So that was odd. All in all, I'd go back. It was a great location, pretty view, I didn't feel unsafe, and lots nearby.
