Rooftop bar in Norfolk experience was great, we went before our Holiday experience on the USS Wisconsin which is a five minute walk near the water. Okay, the Grain had a great happy hour with just drinks (no food apart of happy hour, this is why it isn't a five star review). The drinks were great, the bartenders were very knowledgeable about beers on tap and different drinks that I may like. I think I had the Grain Royale, very excellent holiday drink if you are not much of a beer person. My chicken sandwich was one of the best I've ever had, extra crispy and huge with the pretzel bun. I love chicken sandwiches and I would put it in my top three :) Seating was a bit hit or miss. Because we were there during happy hour we sat at the bar, but the first ten minutes of being there we kind of wandered around because it says seat yourself, but everywhere we wanted to sit said, "no waiter in this area". And the bar was already a bit full at 4:00pm, we finally squeezed in some seats. Totally not their fault. I understand there is a worker shortage and hopefully we can soon overcome this.

Recommend requesting a higher floor for scenic city views. Amenities Facilities: The hotel features a well-equipped workout facility and an indoor swimming pool. Dining: There are three solid restaurants on the premises. The Executive Lounge offers complimentary hot meals and a pay-as-you-go bar, which is a great perk for Hilton Honors members. Parking Tip: Enter the parking garage from the back of the hotel to access the interior doors directly. This is a huge help during the cold winter months. Service: Service at the front desk was mixed. While most representatives were genuine and friendly, the experience was occasionally dampened by a stiff or indifferent attitude from other staff members. Overall: A top-tier choice for business travel in Norfolk, especially if you qualify for an available Government/Military rate.
