The food at the ...

The food at the grain is typical American bar food, huge portions, decent quality, moderately high prices, but the atmosphere is lovely. Rooftop deck with water view, fireplace inside or out. Sweet twinkle lights. They even have a photo booth for that date night. Definitely worth a visit.

(9/11/21) Shot a music ...

(9/11/21) Shot a music video here over the weekend for my birthday and WOW!!! This place is class personified. I had a 1 King 1 Bedroom Suite with a full view of the Elizabeth River. Breathtaking. So many things to do in this place....its hard to leave. Only knock is the hidden $100 incidental fee they don't tell you about until you check in. You do get it back about 4 days after you check out but im definitely coming back to this place

Went there for brunch-enjoyed ...

Went there for brunch-enjoyed the experience of a brunch buffet. The food was a mix of sweet breakfast options to savory brunch options such as salmon cakes and grits. The center held an arrangement of shellfish that looked delectable. Only complaint would be that the same utensil is used to make the omelets & some people have a shellfish allergy that can be affected with cross continanination. Other than that the service and atmosphere was outstanding and would highly recommend.
