Gorgeous hotel! Well appointed rooms! Does however need a full length mirror in the room

Very nice weekend getaway and NYE celebration. This was our second time at Varia and as usual the experience was amazing and Ben our waiter was awesome. I would definitely return and recommend this for date night and just a couples get away. The only reason we didn’t give five stars was because one of the nights during our stay was disturbed from a loud party in the room next to us. We called, and physically walked down to the front desk to advise staff. While down there another room was reporting the disburbance as well. This party continued until about 345 so we had a horrible nights sleep. While checking out we advised the supervisor. She stated no one noted we cane down, but she discounted the room for that night 10 percent. I just feel for the amount of money we spent in the hotel that we should have been able to have a great nights sleep. If we wanted to be disturbed we would’ve stayed home. But all in all we had a great time and will definitely return to plan more weekends here!! Thanks everyone for a great stay

The hotel is new and has lots of bells and whistles. I attended a three day conference this week so I can't rate the rooms. What's important to me is the staff was polite and the common areas were kept clean (even with the large group attending). The only reason I didn't provide five stars was for all of the restaurants not being open during the conference. It was inconvenient having to leave and return back due to a conflict of evening business hours. On the second day, they opened their roof top restaurant (The Grain) which is a must see! It's very open and has amazing views with outdoor space. I'll be attending next year for another conference so I'm looking forward to providing them with five stars next year

The atmosphere is amazing. The food and service not so, but it's because it's so crowded. I'll be back

The atmosphere is youthful and vibrant, yet anyone can hang out and have a good time. The views are amazing, combined with night-time spring/summer weather, it's hard to beat. My only complaint is the level of food, and service. I do realize it's hard to be attentive in that kind of environment, however, they could have a better tasting menu, and not make me chase down a server, for the check. All in all, it's a must-do! Even the mayor was there! #HipForMostOfUs
