Stayed at Hilton Norfolk The Main and it was a great experience. The location is hard to beat, right by the waterfront with really nice views. Plenty of excellent restaurants on-site and nearby, so you don’t have to go far for good food. The hotel itself was very clean, and the overall vibe made it easy to relax and unwind, especially at night. Definitely a solid spot if you’re visiting Norfolk

Great food and atmosphere 👌

Stayed here for a conference multiple days. You're really paying for the view which is pretty awesome. It's on the waterfront and you wake up and see the ships and you can see them at night. So the view is worth it right there. You're pretty close to the USS Wisconsin battleship and the water front is one block in front of you. The restaurant is actually pretty good as well. You have to order the chocolate orb... It's pretty cool for a bunch of people and a good reasonable price. My only issues where it has the world's slowest elevator doesn't matter when you go, but it takes forever. They have six of them. Three of them only go to the 5th floor and the others go to the top but there was nobody there and it still took forever. My headboards were pretty worn. They were kind of peeling.. otherwise the rooms were fine. With huge windows for the view. Instead of two large pillows, they give you four smaller ones. I didn't care for that because your head rolls off the pillow pretty easily For the price, it's pretty reasonable and for the location if you're going to stay there for business or pleasure. Hope it's a pretty good spot here near a bunch of restaurants and you can walk around the waterfront as well. The only odd part is when you walk in the registration floors on the second floor and it's not Mark very well. I got there pretty late and that really wasn't sure where to go till somebody pointed to a small sign. You take the escalator to go into registration. They do give you free. Water is at the front and in the room which is nice since most people want to charge you a lot for water.

My stay at Hilton Norfolk Waterside (3/20 - 3/22/26) had a few positives, but overall did not meet expectations—especially for the price. I’ll start with the good: the front desk staff were welcoming and professional, and the onsite restaurants were enjoyable. Unfortunately, the room itself fell short in several key areas. While Room 1232 offered a beautiful view, the cleanliness was not up to standard. There was trash left in the cans, stains on the bedding, couch, and lamp shades, and noticeable wear on the headboard. Although housekeeping and maintenance addressed some of these issues after they were reported, guests should be able to walk into a clean, well-maintained, and comfortable room without needing to repeatedly contact the front desk. The condition of the room suggests a lack of attention to detail and overall upkeep. The most concerning issue was what appeared to be blood on the bedroom blinds, along with a missing ceiling panel near the corner window. These are not minor oversights and significantly impacted my overall experience. I truly wish more focus was placed on maintaining guest rooms, not just the appearance of common areas like the lobby. Unfortunately, this was my first and will be my last stay at this location.

We stayed at The Main for an evening and had the most amazing experience. We went through every restaurant and stayed on the property. Starting with Saltine for appetizers which were absolutely amazing, the cocktails were delicious and upscaled. We then ventured to The Varia for the most amazing meatball and fire stone pizza. Service exceed expectations in both of the venues. We went for a night cap at Grain and over looked the Harbor stunning view. 10/10 if you stay in Norfolk. We will definitely return.
