Hilton Norfolk The Main Reviews

I really enjoy waking up and going to sleep to the views from a corner ocean or waterfront room in Hilton Norfolk and VA Beach Oceanfront hotels. This hotel has great restaurant options but is also surrounded by other great restaurants and cafes. The Elizabeth River Trail access is a block away and the intriguing naval base you can see from the hotel room window. My only gripe is that such a high end hotel does NOT have microwaves in the rooms to reheat your leftovers. Hilton VA Beach Oceanfront does🧐. If they remedy this issue Norfolk Hilton would be 5 stars for me as a hotel, but they can’t beat the view of waking up to the ocean in VA Beach☺️

This is one of my favorite Hilton properties, in any city. The staff is excellent, from the valet to the front desk to the housekeeping staff. Coupling them with the art installations throughout the 5 public floors, makes this an experience. There are multiple restaurants, catering to different tastes and moods and none of them really break the back. Although each has an excellent happy hour, if you can make it in time. The rooms are spacious. I've stayed in a city view and harbor view rooms and if you can, spend the extra funds, get the harbor view room. The Empyreon is the Diamond/Executive lounge. Big and spacious with plenty of seating overlooking the harbor. Food is hit or miss. There is something every morning and happy hour, but some days were better than others, in both quality and execution. Plenty of drinks (juices. waters, sodas) and they have a limited adult drink menu for the happy hour. Very convenient to both Waterside and Grandby St. for entertainment and food/drinks. The mall (MacArthur) is nearly defunct, so don't even bother. I come to Norfolk at least once, sometimes twice a year and will stay here every time.

Great 5th floor/Roof Top Restaurant. Food and pricing well worth it.. Nice Atmosphere for you and your partner..

Only problem was elevators. AlwYs crowded and long wait times.

Love the location of this hotel. In walking distance to down town Norfolk. Very clean and great service. Couple nice restaurants in the hotel also. Must stay if you’re visit Norfolk area.
