The hotel was very ...

The hotel was very nice. I enjoyed my stay here. You really didn't have to leave the hotel to go anywhere. They had a few restaurants and bars there, fitness center, live bands, etc.. The hotel is huge. There's so much to see here. Loved it!

Good price at great location. Walking distance to USS Wisconsin Battleship and Waterside District which is a great concept.

Food/atmosphere was good BUT ...

Food/atmosphere was good BUT we arrived at 6:45 and we were not seated until 8:15 after being quoted an hour wait. We still didn’t have our food by 9:30 … I don’t recommend trying to come on a weekend. Especially with a larger party. We had 7 for a birthday.

When waterside district was ...

When waterside district was in the revitalization era, Grain was clearly the forerunner in creating a new vibe for Norfolk. What an iconic spot, so many memories were made at this rooftop bar and restaurant. Grateful for the good times
