Hilton Norfolk The Main Reviews

Rooftop bar in Norfolk experience was great, we went before our Holiday experience on the USS Wisconsin which is a five minute walk near the water. Okay, the Grain had a great happy hour with just drinks (no food apart of happy hour, this is why it isn't a five star review). The drinks were great, the bartenders were very knowledgeable about beers on tap and different drinks that I may like. I think I had the Grain Royale, very excellent holiday drink if you are not much of a beer person. My chicken sandwich was one of the best I've ever had, extra crispy and huge with the pretzel bun. I love chicken sandwiches and I would put it in my top three :) Seating was a bit hit or miss. Because we were there during happy hour we sat at the bar, but the first ten minutes of being there we kind of wandered around because it says seat yourself, but everywhere we wanted to sit said, "no waiter in this area". And the bar was already a bit full at 4:00pm, we finally squeezed in some seats. Totally not their fault. I understand there is a worker shortage and hopefully we can soon overcome this.

Great location with easy access to parking. The food is always delish and Kaylee provides the best service. You can't beat the elegant atmosphere. My favorite happy hour spot.

Mark at the Saltine bar is awesome, staff is always friendly and attentive. Love staying here

Participated in a two day program here last week. We didn't stay overnight but,what a magnificent, beautiful place. So much art around,it's almost like being in a museum. A continental breakfast and a deli style lunch was also provided, and the food was excellent. Don't think we'll need a hotel as we live here,but might stay one night just to stay in this beautiful place.

They would have swept 5 star's, however little item's should've been taken care of, soap, moisturizer, body wash... All empty in room.
