Service and location was top notch! Downfall was the loud elevator that I could hear from my room all night long. Every time anyone used the elevator you could hear it making a loud mechanical noise.

Great location, friendly staff, lots of restaurants, clean well-maintained room/hotel but bed wasn't very comfortable.

We were heading south and needed to spend a night in Norfolk and I chose this place for our group since I used to come here all the time on business before I retired. It had been 4 years or since my last stay.and we weren’t disappointed. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The Christmas decorations were wonderful and our group took several photos there. Then we lounged for a while in the lobby after we had dinner and drinks at Saltine. Saltine isn’t what it used to be but it was acceptable for tired travelers, the menu needs a revamp especially the crab cakes. The hotel is starting to show its age it’s time to start the remodeling process. We will definitely return next time we are in the area and highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view, mini dining options exist in the hotel alone whether you want seafood Italian or a bar at atmosphere the place has it all. Location is wonderful as it’s right next to Granby Street which offers many different dining options and a nightlife.

Good choice of restaurants near Waterside in downtown. Executive lounge is good with breakfast and snacks early evening also staffed with friendly and helpful staff.
