Its a very busy place so get there early. Service and food was great. Roof top bar and scenery was awesome.

Hilton Norfolk The Main is a centrally located, modern hotel surrounded by a revitalized section of the city. Its easy access to eateries, sights, and walking paths makes it a convenient base for business travelers. The Rooms: The room was clean and spacious. Recommend requesting a higher floor for scenic city views. Amenities Facilities: The hotel features a well-equipped workout facility and an indoor swimming pool. Dining: There are three solid restaurants on the premises. The Executive Lounge offers complimentary hot meals and a pay-as-you-go bar, which is a great perk for Hilton Honors members. Parking Tip: Enter the parking garage from the back of the hotel to access the interior doors directly. This is a huge help during the cold winter months. Service: Service at the front desk was mixed. While most representatives were genuine and friendly, the experience was occasionally dampened by a stiff or indifferent attitude from other staff members. Overall: A top-tier choice for business travel in Norfolk, especially if you qualify for an available Government/Military rate.

The staff at check in was great even though Trivago messed up. But the facilities are top tier . The Lounge dining on 3 was elevated and the “grain” bar lounge restaurant was wonderful. Has shuffle board and billiards tables and the massive fire pit is a bonus to the already lovely patio seating with great, no fantastic views of the water and the Carnival ship docked at the Museum a block away. This has the best location to the port and is only a 10min uber ride from airport. There is ample shops within walking distance and just about everywhere we went we felt welcome. If you’re in the need of a room before a cruise or want a really nice place to stay. This is it. Oh and the pool deck area is also nice and clean.

Nice hotel and the valet staff were very good, but the restaurant Grain was awful. The food was terrible and the service was not great. I'd recommend staying there, but eating elsewhere.

Great view from 18th floor. Clean rooms. Service was ok. Breakfast ok. No clear instructions given for parking. We eventually figured it out but I think this hotel could do better about informing guests.
