Getting a great room ...

Getting a great room is hit or miss, regardless of booking request, and a gamble if the bed will be clean or not (see picture). Good luck trying to check out after 11. The front desk staff is also hit or miss.

Had a very expensive ...

Had a very expensive higher than Market price Lobster and it was either over cooked or re-warmed like rubber. The hotel was very short staffed and the Valet really made the stay bad. Hilton Properties Customer service was lacking at this beautiful property.

I was there for ...

I was there for late lunch/ early dinner on a Saturday. It's a cool venue but I found that the food and service were both mediocre.

Stayed here back in ...

Stayed here back in May 2022. Location is great if you want to be in the downtown Norfolk area. Nice rooftop late night bar in the hotel. Aesthetics and decor in common areas are very nice. 3 stars because the bathroom was extremely outdated, toilet didn’t flush properly, the food in the restaurant wasn’t good. :(

Mixed bag depending on ...

Mixed bag depending on bartenders. 1st time I went they were amazing. 2nd time had them consistently look at me and saw I was trying to get a drink then took care of someone else who seconds ago had walked up to the bar. Worse part was is they were not crazy busy because most of the population was at a music festival in VA Beach.
