Great hotel, with attentive ...

Great hotel, with attentive staff, in the middle of downtown but the location also means it's very noisy. It's a big tourist hotel so if there's an event, you're going to hear drunk people having fun in the hallways all night long. Yet the location and the hotel's style employer may make up for any of the deficits. The room has great blackout curtains but a night light built into the headboard means if you are light sensitive you will need a mask. The showers put form over function but that's not much to complain about. It's a strong choice if you want to be in the middle of everything.

The weekend brunch has ...

The weekend brunch has good food. I did not like the 90 minute time limit. Dining out for me is mostly social I do not want to be rushed. The manager should rethink the concept it is cafeteria concept to me. Try to come up with a different plan for people waiting. I would rather wait, than rush to eat.

Great location with a ...

Great location with a river view. Loved watching the Spirit of Norfolk & The Carnival Cruise ship dock & depart. Several restaurants on site with great food. Nice clean rooms. Only problem was our bathroom door would stay closed. It was glass. Great staff & very friendly
