Hilton Norfolk The Main Reviews

Hotel is very nice and in a great spot. We were near water and able to see Naval yard and across the Chesapeake. Several restaurant options in hotel and around streets. Room was nice. I will say I was not a fan of the frosted glass bathroom door. There was a mirror light we couldn’t turn off and it shined all night long. I do not do well with lights while trying to sleep. Parking was easy and cost $20 bucks for unlimited access for the day. We got free upgrade for being Diamond members. That’s about only perk though which was a little disappointing. We have had more perks at a Hampton Inn, which is a little sad knowing the Hilton brand hierarchy. Nevertheless we would definitely stay again. I would say bring your own pillow if you can cause the pillows are like 50lb bags on concrete. Ok, slight exaggeration but not the best.

I want to praise Robert Estrella for his courtesy and service. We stayed in your hotel on Feb. 21 for surgery the next day. We met him as we were leaving and he stopped en route to help us with our need of getting our car and showed us how to open our trunk, something our dealer could not explain. He is a model employee of customer service.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has 3 restaurants, beautiful scenery, and valet parking was great for us. There were lots of things to do although we never left our room. The room service was great too!
