Over rated had to ...

Over rated had to park 4 blocks away. Honors member I went to have breakfast and they tried charging me 22.00. Then when I was checking out they offered to comp my breakfast at 0745 when I had an 08:30 apt. Hotel is beautiful but my stay was not.

The service is great! ...

The service is great! The food is delicious! The drinks are generous and nicely poured! The restaurant vibe is fabulous! So that's the good! Now the bad... The musician. Some long-haired, hat-wearing, caterwauling, moderately talented, guitar playing singer. On no planet should I go out and pay a few hundred dollars for dinner, at 7pm, with my man and 2 friends and have to scream over the music to have a conversation. In short. The restaurant is losing our business until the GreatValue John Mayer and all his musical friends start realizing they are not playing a sold out show at Madison Square Garden

I was very excited ...

I was very excited to go to the Christmas Brunch and food was good. I understand that it was a holiday and that there was probably a short staff but to have one person manning an entire side of the restaurant was a little short sighted. After about 15 minutes after being seated I was informed that we had a 1-1/2 hour limit (which would have been fine if our drink orders had been taken by then). After eating and being attended to by an overworked server (Myron) who was trying his best to keep up, I asked for a refill on my $4 coffee for the road. He went to get a refill which took about 20 minutes due to the coffee maker being refilled. I was then approached by the hostess who told us that we had to leave because someone needs our table. I would have been fine with this request if she had asked if there was anything else that we needed but instead it was with a condescending tone. I informed her that I was still waiting on my coffee refill and that my time wasn’t even up yet. She made a face and I’m assuming that she walked off to find the server. Had I received my coffee 20 minutes earlier the table would have been open then (just like the two open tables behind us). By that time I had already left an additional tip besides the one that was included on my bill because I wanted to award the server who worked his butt off. The hostess ruined my whole vibe with her attitude. I understand that it was Christmas Day and maybe she didn’t want to be at work but I was always told that this was a very nice upscale restaurant. This could have been handled better. Hoping that a follow up visit might turn out better if I decide to visit again.

Beautiful hotel and clean ...

Beautiful hotel and clean rooms. A little short staffed, felt really bad for the front desk. One woman, phone was ringing non stop and a line in front of her. But everyone was kind and respectful EXCEPT one of the evening valet attendants. He was disgustingly disrespectful. The morning valet was fine.

I stayed at a ...

I stayed at a king bedroom with partial river view. Beautiful view and room. Some logistic issues. The bathroom, wall paper was coming off. The door was at an awkward location. Blocking the toilet. The drain didn’t drain well. The vent was across the bed, to the far left next to the window. But we felt all the air. We woke up sick because of the air hitting us directly. The pillows were so thick, our necks were hurting 😭 The restaurants were great. Loved the hotel decor and view. Front desk staff and all the staff. Some were polite. The front desk could use better communication training. I work in hospitality and proper language is everything. They were very laid back and unwelcoming. For the price and overall experience, I wont be returning. I will come back to the restaurants though. The staff were incredible.
