We originally planned to come in for a dinner date, but ended up cutting it short due to how loud the music was. Our waitress and the seating employee were both incredibly nice and did try to do all they could, and I know it was probably frustrating for the waitress to lose a table, but I simply could not handle being in there longer than it took just to order a mimosa for myself and my husband and pay and leave. Our ears hurt so bad in the restaurant and leaving, they didn't stop hurting until we had been out of the restaurant for about 15 minutes but I still have some slight residual pain from the noise the next day. I'm sorry to say I couldn't eat outside, I'm sure the vibes are nice, and I would consider coming again if I was sure to be able to come when there was no music, and I could eat outside. The atmosphere inside was really nice, but with us having to shout to each other and the waitress on top of the music and all the other patrons shouting, I couldn't enjoy a thing. The night still ended up being good because we went to another restaurant down the street and the night was saved, but this was a huge disappointment for me after reading so many reviews and wanting to try it so badly. The waitress was very, very nice and apologetic about the noise and said they have to tell them to turn it down all the time, so I did feel a little more validated it wasn't just me and my husband with our ears being blown out and we weren't crazy. If Grain ever has a musicless night, I would love to come back and try it!

Limited vegan options. Disappointing, considering it's not the middle ages.

Beautiful view from my room, great location, amazing staff. Bathroom was outdated, paint was coming off and bathe ceiling was stained from a leak.

I enjoyed the fish and chips as the fish was very well breaded, yet light and fluffy. However, the fries were drenched in oil. Good food, but could work on cleaner plating

Went there this evening. Soon as I walked In I was impressed with the setting and atmosphere was very nice. Originally sat outside( seat yourself sign at door) but found out no servers worked in the section we were in. We moved inside got a server and she took our order . 50 minutes later we received our food. We ordered the Fish and chips and Gumbo. 50 minutes? The seasoned fries were cold, the fish was greasy and the Gumbo was bland. Beyond that the server and management were amazing. Don't know if it was a bad night for the cooks but nothing to brag about.
